I hope they can pull something off — any new element of competition in the market would be a good thing. And I think their vision, at a high level, is basically correct. But I’m highly skeptical simply because it’s so expensive to try to do what they’re doing. They have a lot of money; they’ll need far more.

I’m more of the thought that eventually this will all be done wirelessly anyway, so Verizon, AT&T, and the like eventually become much more of direct competitors to Comcast, etc. And vice versa. Which is already happening, of course, but the costs don’t make sense right now. But eventually they will…
